LOLA MERCEDES PARKER FOUNDATION (LMPF)

The Lola Mercedes Parker Foundation for Economic Empowerment of Business and Professional Women (LMPF) is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit foundation and serves as the charitable arm of Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. The LMPF supports and amplifies the programs, community service efforts and educational projects that uphold the values of the sorority and the communities served.

The Black Community faces the challenges of access to education and opportunities for growth in employment and entrepreneurship. LMPF aims to bring about positive impacts by bringing economic prosperity across Black Communities, thereby ensuring a thriving community. The (LMPF) focuses on leadership and entrepreneurship development through education and technology-driven programs to combat societal and cultural barriers of entry and to create a path forward for intentional success. Each programmatic function is supported by business alliances that uphold our ideals and build bridges for wider connections. Over the last 5 years, the LMPF has reached out to over 900 women and youth through symposiums, workshops, and webinars.
